Our Latest Packaging Advancement: Ali

In today’s fast-paced food production industry, efficiency is more than just a buzzword – it is essential for staying competitive. That’s why we're thrilled to unveil our new, state-of-the-art packing machine for small containers, that we affectionately named Ali, after a retired employee. This addition follows the welcoming of Hugo in 2021, along with Flash and Turbo in 2022.

This leading-edge equipment is poised to change the game by drastically improving packaging speed, reducing waste, and boosting overall production efficiency.

Despite producing only small volumes of Whip Deelite Ready-to-Whip in quart containers—and reserving pint-size packaging for private label products—making even a small batch was always a challenge. The issue stemmed from our older machine, which was slow, frequently jammed, and required constant attention from maintenance workers to keep running

One of the standout features of this new machine is its speed. Packing in quart or pint containers could be a time-consuming process. But with this machine, that’s a thing of the past. Capable of packing up to 60 quarts per minute, this high-speed marvel ensures that we can meet growing demand without the delays that often occur in food production lines. Faster output means more products getting to consumers in less time and at a lower cost. The machine also runs with less interruptions, so downtime is minimized and packing time has been reduced by 35%.

In addition to speed, Ali shines in another critical area: waste reduction. One of the common challenges in the industry is ensuring consistent portion sizes. Small discrepancies in filling can lead to excess packaging waste for underfilled packages that don't meet quality standards. This machine cuts down on wasted ingredients and packaging materials, resulting in lower operational costs and translating directly into savings for your business. We are achieving a 15% reduction in waste for each batch made!

Even with its advanced features, Ali is easy to operate. A PLC touchscreen interface provides a user-friendly control panel where operators can quickly adjust settings, monitor performance, and track production metrics in real time. Maintenance is also a breeze, thanks to its modular design that allows for quick, easy cleaning and servicing.

For Hanan Products, investing in this machine means more than just increased speed—it’s a long-term boost to the bottom line. With production lines staying up and running at optimal efficiency, this equipment delivers a significant return on investment.

With our process now refined, Hanan’s can offer more options for customers with different needs. We will be producing ready-to-whip icings- Top ‘n Fil Vanilla Cremosa and Top ‘n Fil Chocolate Intense, and our tres leches mix, Tres ‘Licious, in quarts! These products were previously only available in gallon containers. We also aim to attract new retail customers with this advancement.

Additionally, with many of our Kosher for Passover products made in pints and quarts, this innovation will significantly aid our Passover production scheduled for January.

We are set to produce our first batch of Top ‘n Fil and Tres ‘Licious quarts later this month. Reach out to us now for a quote!
